Oxford unlike many of Louise's other towns has changed very little. This Old
England and renaissance tone has set Oxford apart from its neighbors, and a good
reason why many traditional artful ventures and early England film production projects consider it as
among their most-preferred destinations. Careful comparison of the modern photo
with her painting show that she faithfully painted the scene in front of her
(she however exaggerated the size of the Church Tower, but that's artistic
licence). This may encourage us to believe that her other town views are also
accurate.
